Broccoli With Dijon Sauce

Steamed broccoli in a Dijon mustard cream sauce.
Ingredients -
1 head Broccoli
3 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce
Salt and Fresh Black Ground Pepper, to taste
1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
1 tablespoon Cider Vinegar
Cayenne Pepper, to taste
 
Preparation:

1. Steam broccoli until barely tender.

2. Combine unsalted butter, extra virgin olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, salt, fresh ground black pepper, Dijon mustard, cider vinegar and cayenne pepper in saucepan.

3. Heat over low heat until butter melts, stirring to blend.

4. Pour over steamed broccoli.

Broccoli
Broccoli stalks and heads should be dark green and firm to the touch. Fresh broccoli is a good source of Vitamin A, and vitamin C, folacin, potassium, fiber, and iron.

Cider Vinegar
Substitute champagne vinegar or 3/4 tablespoon red wine vinegar and 1/4 tablespoon water for the cider vinegar, if desired.
